Connecticut Appaloosa Club Presents its Annual Spring Equine Clinic

Art O'Brien, a professor at Findlay University, has been a professional in the equine industry for over 30 years. His main focus has been showing and coaching clients with the Quarter Horse and Appaloosa breeds, and in NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) and NSBA (National Snaffle Bit Association) competitions. Art has coached clients to AQHA World and Reserve World Championships in Horsemanship, Western Riding, Trail, Showmanship, Reining, Western Pleasure Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation and Equitation over Fences. Art has coached clients to numerous AQHA All-Around Youth and Amateur titles, as well as AQHA Rookie of-the-Year awards. Art's personal accomplishments include: World and Reserve World Championships, AQHA Honor Roll High-Point awards in Western Riding, Trail and Western Pleasure. He was Top Ten at the AQHA World Show, Quarter Horse Congress and Appaloosa National Horse Shows in Western Riding, Trail, Western Pleasure and Reining.
THIS FULL DAY CLINIC WILL COVER HORSEMANSHIP, HUNT SEAT EQUITATION, SHOWMANSHIP AND TRAIL. Potential added classes in Lead Changes and Western Riding.
Cost for full day including lunch - $200.00 CAA MEMBERS $225.00 NON MEMBERS
Viewing fee: 13yrs & older - $35.00 CAA MEMBERS $50.00 NON MEMBERS

The end of the exit will fork, bare to the left, at the light take a left onto Rt 5. At the second light take a left on Chapel Rd. Go to the stop sign and take a right onto Main St. Look for #695 on the left. It is a big white house with pillars. The indoor is in the back. If you go past the life size plastic Appaloosa (on your left) you have gone too far. Watch for the spotted signs.
